The Milwaukee/Hilton Head volunteer contingent worked at the Habitat for Humanity build site on Tuesday, January 27. Some of us non-Habitat volunteer partners roamed around Lake Pontchartrain and more. After meeting for beer at the Rusty Pelican near Lou and Mariann's rental, 14 of us met at Lagos for Mexican food. Lagos served marguerites and Negro Modelo by the pitcherful.
The sunny, balmy weather made everyone's day.

Waiting for dinner at Lagos Mexican Restaurant, Leah tells Lou about the African Safari she, Ray, Barb, and Sheldon enjoyed earlier this fall. Barb created a Blurb photo book. She chose photos from among the 3,000+ photos taken (mostly by Sheldon) on this safari.
